Our Mission

Local 170 Teamsters Federal Credit Union is organized to serve the members and their families who work within Local 170 Teamsters Union.  As a financial institution owned and operated by our members, our purpose is to provide financial advice and a competitively priced complete line of financial products and services, while at the same time maintaining/building an adequate capital base.  Local 170 Teamsters Federal Credit Union will continually play a leadership role in the communities it serves by providing high quality, personal services in a friendly environment.

To accomplish this we will:

1.                  Acquire the necessary technology and refine our current financial products to meet our members’ needs.

2.                  Continue our marketing and communication programs so that our members are aware of all our services and products.

3.                  Continuously review our methods to reduce fees while maintaining the same level of products.

4.                  Improve and add services and pay a fair return on their deposits.

5.                  Recognize that a qualified and dedicate staff is necessary to carry out the Board’s policies and directives.  We will continue training our employees, making certain they have all resources available to adequately support them.
